PRINCE GEORGE – The BC Football Conference rolled out their weekly player awards for Week 4 of the season, and for the first time a Prince George Kodiak has been named a winner.

Jerome Erickson is benefitting heavily from junior football coming to the north and is having one of the top rookie campaigns in the BCFC through three games with the Kodiaks.

The College Heights alumni had a big night in his club’s Week 4 clash with the Valley Huskers in Chilliwack. He hauled in nine passes for 99 yards, and a touchdown in PG’s 34-17 loss to the Huskers.

Erickson sits third in the conference with 14 receptions on the season and has a total of 154 yards receiving and two touchdowns to his credit.

It’s been an impressive season so far for Erickson. Especially considering he transitioned from quarterback to receiver ahead of the Kodiaks’ inaugural season.
